Krynica-Zdrój
Beautifully situated in the Beskid Sądecki Mountains, Krynica Zdrój - known as the jewel of Polish health resorts - is extremely rich in mineral waters. There are numerous health spas with a wide range of therapeutic, recreational and wellness facilities where you can book health treatments, drinking water treatments, beauty treatments, etc. Many facilities have public swimming pools and wellness zones. The town also offers other attractions, including the Nikifor Krynicki Museum. There are hiking and biking trails in the area, as well as ski stations and viewpoints which can be reached by cable cars.
The DPT building is located in a quiet part of the city, near the forest. It has 18 rooms (9 double and 9 single). They all have bathrooms and internet access. There is also a sauna, a gym, a ski room, a bicycle rental and a digital piano in the building.
How to get there
The best way to travel from Warsaw to Kraków is by train. There is a direct bus to Krynica Zdrój (6 times a day) from the Kraków Główny Railway Station. The DPT is approx. 2.5 km away from the Krynica Train Station at Ebersa Street, so the most convenient way is to take a taxi. You can also get off earlier at the “Havana” stop (ul. Piłsudskiego in the center of Krynica); the DPT is 0.5 km away from there.
From Thursday to Sunday, there are also direct Warsaw - Krynica - Warsaw buses.
